Cloud Studies I

One day in 2010, my wife and I drove along the shore of Lake Superior north of Duluth toward Grand Marias. These images capture that trip that day and the changing quality of light created by clouds and their movement over time. Occasionally, they would lift enough to see through to at least a suggestion of clear skies beyond, only to close in again and start the process of change again.
